Zoo America is bringing their "Unearth a Story" program to the John Graham Library tomorrow (Wednesday, July 22 at 10:30 am)! Meet live animals!

As some of the locals are aware, the street in front of the Boutique is closed for repairs and paving for two weeks. What many may not know is the Borough is considering taking away street parking in sections of South & North High Street. We know parking is an issue in town, but it is in any town! Rarely do we get up front parking when we want our favorite downtown Carlisle eats, drinks & shopping, but we make it work. The reason for this post is to encourage you to attend a Borough Council meeting on one of the dates in the photo attached to voice your opinion and concerns about Newville Borough parking. Suggestions and thoughtful remarks are welcomed by council members. This removal of parking affects anyone who wants to stop and pick up some good eats, get some permanent ink, or have a favorite beverage in downtown Newville. This is not just about Borough residents. We encourage you to use your voice too! We did.
