I’ve been thinking about bringing back our Freshie Find Friday’s….. if you’re new here’s what it is:
We hide a freshie inside a local small business and make a video and drop hints as to where it is. If you find it you keep it! All we ask is that you post and tag us and the business it was found at!

Week 2 of June:
342 sales.
Our goal was over 1,000.

I’m not going to pretend this doesn’t sting. I’ve been exhausted and low lately. Summer is always tough for small bookshops, and right now it feels especially heavy. We don’t even have the energy to go into how dire things are.

It’s getting harder and harder to pull our bootstraps up and find the hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel in a time when everyone in this country is struggling. We are still here, but honestly we don’t know for how much longer.

This isn’t a pity party post. We actually dread making these updates because it feels desperate and like we’re begging. We’ve talked about stopping them, but people tell us we need to stay transparent and not just disappear.

If you’ve loved a read from us, told a friend, or meant to stop by, now’s the time. Every visit, share, and purchase matters more than ever.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us so far. We’re still turning pages and hoping for brighter weeks ahead. We know some have been waiting on their orders. Rest assured we’re just waiting on a few book deliveries to come in. ❤️📚

My daughter’s baby shower was in February. I found this freshie that I had made as favors in my console in the package. I haven’t had time to make my own freshie so I put it up and wow let me tell you! It still smells great!!
Don’t let the size of the minis fool you! They still smell great and last!
