Spent a little time at Mood today making some changes. 🥀

I think one of the things I love most about this little boutique is that it gives me a place to be creative — to take something I can see in my head and actually make it real.

Because Mood was never meant to just be a room full of wedding gowns.

Inside these doors, I want you to enter an unexpected world.

Finding your wedding gown is part of your wedding story. It’s a day you get dressed for. A day you bring the people you love. A day you take pictures, laugh, celebrate and hopefully leave with a memory you’ll still talk about years later.

So why should the place where it happens feel ordinary?

I want Mood to feel different. Immersive. Beautiful. A little magical. A place where, for a couple of hours, the rest of the world feels very far away.

I get to create that space — and then I get to watch brides experience it.

IT STARTS WITH A FLOWER. 🌹🦢

At the beginning of a Mood appointment, our little wooden swan is filled with flowers.

The bride and each of the people who love her choose several.

Then they wander.

Each person places their flowers on the gowns that make them think of her.

And one of our favorite things is watching what happens next. 🥀

Her mom may see the romantic side of her.
Her best friend may see something bold and completely unexpected.
Someone else may choose something soft, whimsical or timeless.

Because the people who love us often see different pieces of who we are.

We’re multifaceted. We change. We grow. We enter new seasons of our lives — and becoming a bride is certainly one of them. 🕯️

And then there’s the bride herself.

What does she choose?

Does she see herself exactly as everyone else does?
