As you gather for backyard barbecues, parades, fireworks, and time with loved ones, we hope your day is filled with laughter, gratitude, and memories you'll treasure for years to come.

And if you happen to sneak in a little quilting between the festivities... we completely understand! 🧵😉

Faith and Dian are making great progress on two baby boy quilts for Newborns in Need in our classroom space today! Good it's a good day to beat the heat outside and sew inside where it's cool for charity. Make plans to join us every Friday for our baby quilt sew-in. Use up your scraps, or get fabric in the store at a discount. We have room for eight each week so let us know if you plan to to join us as space is on a first-come basis. 😀💙 These are going to be so cute! Remember, if you can't sew with us on Fridays, please drop off or ship baby boy quilts to the store and we will get them to Newborns in Need. Every time you turn in a quilt your name will be entered into the quarterly drawing for a store gift certificate.

Susan's quilt is beautiful! Subtle shades of red, blue, and ivory make a beautiful color palette for her flag quilt. She purposefully chose prints not traditionally used for patriotic projects, and combined them for a beautiful patriotic outcome. Great work, Susan, and happy Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙

Congratulations on a fantastic outcome, Faith! She met Julie in the store yesterday to pick up her newly quilted project. This quilt was pieced as part of our intermediate piecing classes and we are in love with the Curated Blooms collection paired with the Honeycomb solid from Paintbrush Studio! Such a gorgeous color palette! She plans to bind it with one of the dark blue prints from the collection. Great work, Faith. We know you are going to enjoy this quilt for years to come. Thank you so much for taking the class and shopping with us.

Beyond excited! The fabric for the All Missouri Shop Hop was just delivered to our store! This fabric is soooo pretty! We're super excited to get shop samples in process and can't wait to see everyone during this year's hop. This fabric will be available starting September 1st, and we have some with some super-cute kits planned for the fabric. You can pre-order the magazine on our website or in our store NOW. This is a fabric collection and a shop hop you don't want to miss! 💛🤍💙

Donna Petre has been stitchin' up a storm! She makes and sells adorable bears and dinosaurs using a wide variety of patriotic and Route 66-themed prints. We ordered a bolt of the highway signs print for her, and yesterday she picked up the fabric, and today, voila! Cuteness overload! You can order through her page or shop in the gift shop at Gary’s Gay Parita on RT 66 in Halltown, MO (I-44 & Halltown exit). You can contact her directly through her page.
