There are some great upcoming workshops at MVSS!

Shrinky D***s!!!!

Friday, September 18th 6:30-8:30 pm
$55 includes all materials.
Just bring ideas!
You could make bracelets, keychains, scissor tags, stitch markers…. So many fun things!

Quilted sneakers - such a fun way to let your style and personality shine! Fairly simple to make and comfy to wear!

There are two sessions to choose from.

Session A - Sundays 9/27, 10/11 and 10/25
10-1:00 $125, does not include materials.
OR
Session B - Monday 9/28, 10/5 and 10/19
10-1:00 $125, does not include materials.

Be sure to sign up with Jennifer to secure your spot! Shoe kits do need to be ordered so don’t wait to the last minute to register. 😊

Back to school time means back to our regularly scheduled programming!! Yay!!

Weekly classes are resuming on Tuesday, September 8th, while there are spaces in most classes, things are filling up quickly. Let Jennifer know if you want to sign up!

Remember all classes are multi leveled and are appropriate for any sewing student-beginner to advanced 😊

September 2026 -

Adult classes -
Tuesday AM-9/8, 9/15, 9/22 and 9/29
10-12:30
Cost is $140 - there is one spot left.
Tuesday PM- 9/8, 9/15, 9/22 and 9/29
6:30-9:00 pm
Cost is $140.
Wednesday PM - 9/9, 9/16, 9/23 and 9/30
630-9:00
Cost is $140.
Friday AM - 9/11, 9/18, 9/25
10-12:30
Cost is $105.

Kid’s classes - appropriate for all kids age 8-16

Tuesday - 9/8, 9/15, 9/22 and 9/29
4-6 PM, $120
Wednesday - 9/9, 9/16, 9/24 and 9/30
4-6 pm, $120

Please remember that the cost of classes for not include the cost of materials.

This is a two week mini session, Regular classes will be starting the week of 9/8.

Tuesday AM 10-12:30 $70 8/18 and 8/25
Tuesday PM 6:30-9 $70 8/18 and 8/25

The Sea Glass wall hanging workshop has two sessions - either Wednesday evenings starting on 8/19 or Monday mornings starting 8/24.

Come and have some fun Friday, September 18th, 6:30-8:30 and make Shrinky D***s!

Cost is $55 and includes all materials

Make keychains, bracelets, charms for your bags, anything you can think of 😊

Sea glass quilted wall hanging workshop!

There is a choice of two sessions -

Wednesday 6:30-9:00 8/19, 8/26 and 9/2 $125 - does not include materials
OR
Monday 10-12:30 8/24, 8/31 and 9/14
$125 - does not include materials.

Sea glass quilts are a fun way to use up small scraps, tiny pieces of a favorite fabric or the perfect fussy cut. We’ll be making a small wall hanging but you can also make pillows, table runners and bags out of your creations.

Where has July gone?

We had an amazing week of beginner sewing camp this month and everyone made the cutest things!

Reversible tote bags, pillowcases with French seams, wallets, a pillow with their initial and a plushie penguin 🐧

If your child is interested in getting in on the fun, monthly kids classes will resume on September 8th, stay tuned for details!
