With only a few weeks left til market season kicks off, my anxiety is VERY loudly stressing that I am knitting all the wrong things. I start knitting for fall markets in February and it can sometimes be a little scary to invest so much time and money into knitting stock not knowing if its going to be what you all want to see. These beanies were a BIG hit during Christmas in July, so I’m feeling pretty confident that it’s time to knit up more. But I would love to hear from all of you: what are you looking for this fall winter?!?!

Fall and winter hat stacks are made in the summer! I started Meggles Knits as a way to have a creative outlet after my oldest was born, but once my youngest arrived a few years later I left my corporate job and this business became even more. Life looks a little different these days, but you can still find me chasing my kids through life with my knitting by my side. So thankful for the portability of knitting so “work time” can take place anywhere, like at the beach watching my kids swim for hours. Anyone else’s kids just at their absolute happiest when they are in/by/near water?

I’m sure it will come as a surprise to almost no one that I brought a stack of hats with me to Europe- because how was I going to miss the opportunity to take photos at all the amazing sights?! Big shout out to my husband who not only planned our entire trip, but dutifully carried a backpack full of hats around to all our adventures “just in case”.
