Berry picking - & swipe to see the black raspberry pancakes I made with what I foraged! 🍓🫐🌱
Black raspberries have long been associated with healing, protection and abundance in Pagan traditions. Never having been commercialized, these berries grow wild all over and cannot be found in stores. Pick them during early summer to try them; along with blackberries at the end of summer.

I’ve missed the feeling of cool river water and going barefoot in the grass. Rejuvenating is the only way I can describe how I feel now that I can.

Happy Litha! 🌞 Today marks the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, when the sun is at its strongest. It is a time of abundant light and energy. ☀️⚡️
As we take a day to celebrate the sun's power and warmth, let's also take a moment to reflect on our own inner light and the growth we've undergone so far this year. Maybe take a mental note, journal, or use your phone to write about it.

witches aren’t a myth. we are certainly not evil doers wishing harm on the general population.
we aren’t people who simply believe they are higher beings than others.
even christians who commonly condemn paganism for “satanism” - that is not the case - have their own roots in the religion.
christmas was derived from a pagan holiday, halloween was, as was easter.
the list goes on as to why people should not condemn paganism, and yet they still do.
nonetheless, paganism goes deeper than what many people think.
witches want what is best for nature, we want to recover the spirituality that was stripped from us. we want to see mother earth flourish.

Find your connection with the forest, with the plants and the animals. Learn not to conquer these things and destroy them, but to nourish them and to learn beside them.
🪻🌸🌱

To grow your connection:
- take notes on local greenery and attempt to identify it in the wild
- leave offerings for the forest spirits
- build a forest altar
- find a tree you feel attached to and meditate beside it
