It’s the countdown to Halloween and this bubble bath is so ready! We got the dress from the thrift store and added 3 sizes of iridescent ornaments with wire. I should’ve recorded a tutorial for the headband - I really didn’t expect it to turn out! I just hot glued some shiny fabric along with ornaments and a rubber ducky et voilà! 🫧

Happy fourth! Third year going strong on the sequin dress, though more of a shirt now. I used to love sewing for fourth - it was a bigger deal than Easter for me. But I’ve slacked the past couple years and upon realizing there may not be any handmade dresses left that fit they said, “mom we’re going to play pickleball with dad can you make us some new dresses while we’re gone?” So I sewed… shorts for the baby. And dug out the old dresses that magically still fit. Sorry girls! Next year I’ll be more on top of it 🙃

I saw a fabric today that reminded me of this and I realized I never posted this. It’s not available anymore, but wanted to share anyway because it was a favorite of mine. I had tried to make a bucket hat that matched it but it was so tiny I think it would barely fit a 6 month old, but my girls insisted on trying to wear it anyway 🙃 I do have more of this fabric maybe I’ll try again.

This lady bug dress has double ruffles on the shoulders, an elastic back with rounded tie, and pockets for special treasures. This is true to size but also works great on an 18 month old to give a little room to grow.
