Wi******er Bay Camping Update – Don’t Sleep on This One! 🔥🏜️
Attention Takeover Family – we’re just around the corner from August 11-16 and the demand this year is absolutely insane. People are rolling in early, asking questions, and scrambling for spots… so here’s everything you need to know:
✅ Sand Camping Still Available
• Main Stage Area (South Pod)
• Lighthouse Area (North Pod)
These prime sand sites are on sale right now for just $50 — that gets you 6 days / 5 nights, free dozer tow-in if you need it, restrooms, and on-site trailer service for gray/black tanks. Spots won’t last long!
Hard Pack Options
Most Takeover hard-pack areas sold out months ago, but the County still has a few sites left at the resort, Windy Cove A, or the marina. All give you sand access, but note: If you stay at the resort, UTVs are not allowed inside the park — park them just outside in the field.
If you want to come the weekend before or Monday. All sites are available through the county for standard rates and then you would automatically transfer into the event on Tuesday.
The only area that is closed until Tuesday in the light house sand camping. This area is normally closed and won’t be available until Tuesday. Besides that all areas are available.
Come early and avoid the rush and enjoy the calm before the storm. If you come early I would recommend getting your wristbands online prior to arriving just to make sure you Donny have any issues at the gate.
Vendor Row & Activities
• Shopping at Vendor Row is FREE
• All activities are FREE with a wristband (you just watch or enter — it’s all included)
This year we’re bringing the heat with new additions: pit bike races, ATV short course, ATV drag racing, more short course
classes, Kids Treasure Hunt, Tire Relay, and a ton of other exciting things.
Don’t let the name “UTV Takeover” fool you — this event is for ALL vehicles. Especially in Wi******er Bay, we’re all about bringing the whole community together to celebrate the industry and our sand family.
