I made this pattern in Tye dye years ago. My son loves it. Beautiful!!

I thought this scrappy stair-step design would look fresh and modern against all that white. But now that it’s on the bed, the bright blocks feel kind of scattered, like I just threw leftover pieces on without a plan. My mom came by and said it’s “a little hard to follow” and the white space isn’t helping calm it down. I was hoping for playful and clean, but it’s coming off busy and unfinished to me. Do you think I used too many different colors, or is it the layout?

Last update on black cat. Animal Control reported that the cat is a feral cat and confirmed by the shelter it was trapped and released cat so it will not be trapped.
