✨ Another Win for Lusheous Collection! ✨

Lusheous Collection Inc is proud to announce that it has been awarded $1,865 through the Iron Chest Fund by Mortar Cincinnati, funded by Procter & Gamble.

As a proud Mortar Cincinnati alum, Lusheous Collection is grateful for organizations that continue to invest in entrepreneurs and provide resources that help small businesses grow and thrive.

Receiving this award during Juneteenth week makes this achievement especially meaningful. Juneteenth represents freedom, progress, opportunity, and economic empowerment. This investment demonstrates the impact that can be made when corporations and community organizations intentionally support small business owners and entrepreneurs.

The grant funding will be used to implement professional barcode systems and product tagging while expanding accessories inventory as Lusheous Collection prepares for continued growth.

This milestone comes on the heels of another incredible community celebration, as Founder & CEO Renika J. Smiley recently hosted a SOLD-OUT Advance NOW Graduation Gala & EmpowerHER Awards at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.

Lusheous Collection Inc Store may not be officially open yet, but the support has already started rolling in! Today, we welcomed a customer who stopped by and purchased two beautiful plus-size dresses for her sister. 💕

Today marked a meaningful milestone for Lusheous Collection Inc as the team completed the mural/sliding wall doors inside the store.

The mural was thoughtfully designed by founder Renika J. Smiley to honor the memory of her beloved family members who have passed away over the past several years, including both of her parents, grandparents, and close relatives. After experiencing significant family loss between 2020 and 2025, Renika chose to incorporate their legacy directly into the heart of the store.

Through the inheritance left by her mother and aunt, Renika was able to launch Lusheous Collection and transform grief into purpose by building a brand rooted in family, fashion, and legacy.

For Renika, Lusheous Collection is more than a boutique—it is a tribute to the stylish, strong women in her family whose memory continues to inspire the brand’s vision.

As the team prepares for its upcoming soft launch, this moment serves as a reminder that every part of the business has been built with intention, love, and legacy in mind.
