Last year, I planted a few rows, added compost, threw in some seeds… and everything grew beautifully. That was my “practice round,” and it was enough to know this was something I wanted to keep pursuing.

This year, I’ve been more intentional—planning rows, focusing on spacing, building soil the right way. And honestly? I’ve learned a lot already.

I tried growing too many varieties (some not so easy), and not enough of what I know thrives. And soil health… that’s the real work. It takes time, care, and patience—especially when you’re trying to do it in a regenerative way.

But even with the lessons, this season will still bring beautiful flowers—and I’m so excited for what’s ahead.

I’m all in on learning, growing, and doing it better each year 🌸

I was hoping that we would be finished in time to set up tomorrow but it’s not going to happen. The trailer is going to look amazing with more space to serve you Sweet Sunday Tea but we will have to wait until next week. See you then at C & C Feed.
