2025 was a year of so many beautiful moments. I have so much to be grateful for. Life wasn’t always easy but it sure was an amazing year spent with the people I love.

Got to twin with my baby girl ✨ yesterday at church!

Keita finally got a confirmed diagnosis last month and does have Celiac disease. Celiac disease is an autoimmune disease where her body no longer can digest gluten. We have had to completely change the way we eat and I am not great with change but I have been so shocked at how much healthier we are eating.

After my son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2021 we said we would eat healthier as a family but it didn’t change much. We figured his insulin would cover whatever he ate.

You may think I’m crazy or “crunchy” for speaking on all of this but my eyes have been opened so much more on how unhealthy our food in America has become. I have questioned so much on why my two kids are now struggling with an autoimmune disease and I truly believe it’s linked directly to our food and products we consume.

Eating healthy and buying clean products is a choice, I’m not great at it still. It’s been a slow process and I hate that groceries and everything is so much more expensive because it’s ✨gluten free ✨ Healthier should not come at an additional cost! But I’m doing all I can to change that so my 3rd child doesn’t get diagnosed down the road with anything.

A few days too late but hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and is enjoying the weird in between before the New Year!

It’s been a wonderful year with many changes and I’m excited for a new year to grow and see where life takes us. I usually pick a focus word and have some goals set in mind. I have no idea what to focus on this year but I do know where I want to be at the end of next year. I know what I want for my family and myself. Grateful to be alive and for all that I have.

May you find yourself loving who you are now and not who you want to be. May you focus on yourself and enjoy spending time alone. I hope everything you need, want or dream for comes true this next year. May you leave behind the hardships of 2023 and bring only the good into the New Year!

May you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve. Celebrating this holidays with peace, holding your loved ones a little tighter, laughing till you can’t feel your cheeks and dreaming bigger for yourself, your friends and family.

This time of year not only do I think of our Savior but I tend to think about the journey it took for him to come into this world. Much like our journey here on Earth nothing is easy. Trials and struggles are present to allow us to grow and learn. But through the valleys and peaks we are reminded that through Him all things are made possible.
•
At the end of the year I always like to reflect on the small wins. Of course big moments always shine brighter but I’ve been trying to find small pockets of peace and leaning on those. Acknowledging all parts of life I think is so important and even the ugly hard parts. Knowing we came out of something hard and surviving is so empowering. We need to know physically and mentally we are strong. However, my strength is not only my own.

I’m not perfect and no one is but I know that this year was beautiful. I focused more on myself, didn’t do everything I wanted to do but tried new things that pushed me. I know that through my Savior I can try and try again and he will always be there providing a way.

Merry Christmas from The Tangiora’s! I sang my first solo ever in my 30 years of life. Ramon sang the most beautiful song and we felt the spirit so strong during our Christmas program! We had a wonderful morning opening presents and eating our “traditional” breakfast Strata. But most of all we have loved remembering the birth of our Savior.
