I've always been a lover of old items, rusty goodness and chippy paint, for these treasures have a history and don't mind showing off their age! They are true works of art! Working in collage, altered art, mixed medium, c

hina mosaic and hand painting, I create original designs on home decor pieces as well as painting signs from reclaimed lumber - just about anything I can get my hands on gets a whimsical touch! I also refinish furniture and am what I call a reclaimation artist - I take something broken, battered or missing parts and give it a whole new purpose and life. ⏳️ It's time for this week's Humpday Vintage Junk Jar!

Our first jar of the week is chock-full of Occupied Japan Victorian figurines. There are 8 figurines in total jammed into an awesome vintage Mayonnaise jar! Please see pictures for closeups. The man on the tiny vase and the man playing a violin both have chipped feet as shown. The rest of the figurines are in excellent condition. They can be kept on display in the jar for a fun conversation piece, or displayed individually. The jar measures 6.5" tall and is 3" in diameter. The figurines range from 2" to 4" tall.

We are SEW glad it is still Tuesday! Especially since we get to show off these awesome items! Whether you are an avid seamstress, sew as a hobby, collect pin cushions, or just like to decorate with cool vintage items, these are must haves!

2 Tier Thread Caddy
- has tomato pin cushion attached on top. There are a few moth holes as seen in pictures. The caddy can hold 6 spools on the bottom and 5 spools on top. There are also 2 hooks perfect for scissors or whatever else you want!

Old Granny Pin Cushion Holder
- made in Japan. She lifts off to reveal a heavily pinned cushion underneath her skirt! The pins have quite some age to them. She still has her original "Made In Japan" sticker. She does have 2 cracks. One has been glued. Neither are complete breaks. There is also quite a bit of crazing.

The Bisque Gods were definitely watching over this bunch. All arrived in terribly squished boxes. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves arrived wrapped in paper towels in a box that had been split open and smashed! Thank goodness they all survived!

On a side note, has anyone ever seen an elderly monkey couple before? We hadn't until now! They are 1940s Japan and absolutely adorable!

🎅 Welcome to our final Christmas In July Edition of !🎅

Today we have a complete Putz Village made in the USA! There are 6 houses, a log cabin, church, and a clay face Santa with his sleigh. Both celluloid deer are missing their antlers. The original box has some tape repairs and a few dings here or there, but the graphic is fantastic! Some of the houses have sponge trees. All of the houses are white and a pinkish red, accept for the church and cabin. If you have been looking for a complete Putz village to add to your collection, look no further!
