It seems like the world is thirsty for more authentic realness 🥰
With all the face filters, influencer, glitz and glam that is being feed to us as “the perfect world”…. I think we can all relate to feeling disheartening by the Facarde 😲🤔
All the caked on make up, pumped up lips and photo shopped abs simply add to the feeling of disconnection. A type of unrelatable and unattainable beauty that has been put on a pedi stool for the to aspire too 🤮

My (Kelsey Faery) first burn in 2000 I was BLOWN away by the Beauty and magic of the creatures I met down there. Their open way of interacting, the way the moved thru the space around them AND they beautiful clothing they wore. I was TRULY inspired and returned home to Whistler canada fully pumped and ready to make costumes.
One major thing I learnt from that experience is that out there in Black Rock City you want your outfits not only look amazing but FEEL amazing and comfortable also. THIS IS an important KEY your BM experience.
SO I started designing outfits that were stretchy, flowy AND visually pleasing
