We’re devastated by the weight of this reality. No child should carry fear as part of their daily life, and yet so many are being forced to grow up inside a storm. Even so, we hold tight to the hope of a better tomorrow — one shaped by safety, protection, and the chance to simply be children again.

This verse and a vision of a mighty lion has brought me to tears over the past few years, prepared my heart for some tough decisions, and strengthened me in the moments that came unexpectedly. This vision came to me when the pandemic started and my son’s dyspraxia was triggered by the chaos. With my brush in my hand, I tried my best to communicate the image and power of the Lion of Judah to my son. When words can’t communicate, art does. This image wrapped him in Truth that Christ, the LION OF JUDAH is greater than the evil we face. By the power of Christ, we are conquerers in this world. HIS TRUTH REMAINS THE SAME.

Treasure the faithfulness of His word and His promises in your heart, you’re still going to need it friends for the days ahead.
