Wishing a Happy valentine’s Day to everyone. I spent my day in line at the pharmacy with a box of baby diapers, and chatting with the sweetest elderly man, who just so happened to have the same name as my father. He was enamored with my almost 6 month old was strapped to my chest like a little koala bear, smiling, and silently watching as our new friend chatted with me about life and children. My hubby is out of town, my oldest went sledding with his cousins at his grandparents, and I’m having a somewhat relaxing evening with the fur family and baby, sipping some immune boosting soup that I made last night. Not your stereotypical Valentine’s Day, but parts of it can certainly be romanticized and I think that might just be the key to living a beautiful, messy and creative life, plus I get to spend it with some real, little charmers.

Well hi! Just wanted to drop in with a small peek of new vintage and say that I just cleared and re-stocked a rack of cotton and wool sweaters and coats at Salsbury’s Organics , in Town Hill. There are a several blouses too, ranging from the 1940s to 1990s. There is also a pair of 1970 Frye Campus Boots available (fresh from the cobbler with new soles, women’s size 8.5).
*****A few past items have been reduced to 50% off (if you had your eye on the vintage Flemington Fur coat or any shoes/boots, go snag them while you can!).

We’re having a wonderful little pop-up today, Saturday and Sunday in Northeast Harbor in the beautiful old Brown’s Hardware store. It will be a busy and fun filled weekend for folks and families of all ages, especially those looking to do some holiday shopping, Santa greeting, s’more eating and much more!

Wooly plaid skirts, blazers, vintage furs and some amazing, one of a kind textural handmade pieces. First come, first serve…and get yourself some real good coffee at the cafe while you’re at it.
