RIP Cassandra Wilson (1955-2026)
We have lost another celebrated vocalist, one of the most creative jazz singers of our generation. She had such a distinctive voice, and if you ever saw her play live you could tell she felt the music in every fiber of her being. She will be missed. 💔

RIP, Dolly. You were the world's best and brightest example of pure kindness and you will be missed. You were beyond genres (just check out these duets!), a songwriter with a unique viewpoint that was still able to connect with everyone regardless of background, a quiet philanthropist and a hoot in interviews!
