💛 To our volunteers, managers, and board members — thank you!
Yesterday we came together for our Volunteer Appreciation Lunch, celebrating the people whose time, heart, and generosity make everything we do possible.
And while the first photo caught some wonderful faces, it's nowhere near all of them! Our gratitude reaches every single volunteer, manager, and board member, pictured or not. You are the heart of this.
The afternoon held a little bit of everything:
🎤 Lisa welcomed everyone, shared some great insights and shared many words of thanks and heartfelt gratitude.
🙏 Dr. Julie Murdock opened us in prayer.
💗 Ashley Rowland and her family bravely shared their journey through childhood cancer and their experience with Piggyback — and Ashley's promise to forever advocate for this group and give back to the people who gave her family so much. A reminder of exactly why we do this.
😂 And Pastor Joe Binkley of The Chapel closed us out with a comedy set that had the whole room laughing.
Gratitude, a few happy tears, and a lot of laughter — the perfect way to honor this community. Thank you for all you do. 🐷✨
