Emergency Weather Response (EWR) – Important Information

With temperatures expected to drop into the teens overnight this week, the Emergency Weather Response (EWR) program will likely be activated. Please review the following reminders:

• When It Activates:
The EWR program opens safe overnight sleeping spaces at local area churches when the forecasted temperature is 20°F or below.

• How to Check Activation:
Call 636-344-0177 after 3:00 PM on any night safe sleep may be needed.

• What You’ll Hear:
A recording will announce whether the program is active, the shelter location, and the hours of operation.

Please share this information with anyone who may benefit. Stay safe and stay warm.
