Sew Many Stitches-O' Fallon, IL I’m RETIRED! Formerly Memorial Teddy Bears and Memory Quilts from recycled clothing, Hand Embroidery, Machine quilting, Repairs and alterations.

Now I just play for myself! Recycling old clothes and family textiles into teddy bears, quilts, or other home decorator items like pillows or wall hangings is my favorite thing to do. Time to think about Christmas gifts or tags.

Redo complete! The goose nest now features Julep instead of Citron. I think it works well for the individual ornament but more importantly it's more harmonious for the overall set. I had to get a little vicious ripping the nest off the goose, but the damage was minimal. I can move on now. 😅 I do love the Citron felt and I keep trying to sneak it in there during my makes but so far, nope. It looks like the DMC 166 embroidery and occasional citron sequin will have to do.

Every day I spend a little bit of time working through my quilting projects. I have three quilts in different stages of piecing. One the shirts are ready for stabilizer, one about 1/2 pieced and a third that is a block a month that is in need of attention. Hopefully, I will have them done soon. One step at a time. Here is the baby quilt.
