Very excited to say that I’ll be setting up shop inside in Bloomingdale, Il (DuPage county suburb). If you haven’t heard of it… It’s a giant building filled with small business owners selling unique products in their own individual space. It’s sort of like Etsy in person. It’ll be another creative labor of love transforming this blank space into a tiny vintage accessory boutique but I’m up for the challenge. Stand by this summer to see the transformation. Oh & wish me luck. Located in the Bloomingdale Court Shopping Center- 368 W. Army Trail Road

Thanks in advance Cork & Bean Oak Lawn for letting me borrow a little bit of your great atmosphere on April 6. I know this will be a fun evening! Stop by followers or anyone who likes unique jewelry, vintage or new, because I believe I’m sharing space with 14k gold permanent jewelry vendor. I’ll also be bringing vintage bags, I’ll display whatever I have room to.

1st part of the year will be a slow down time for me cuz of an over due knee replacement & rehab. So I’ve decided to use the time off from my real job to get my Antiques (Decorative Arts)Appraisal cert. I believe it will give my website customers added faith and draw in some new ones. Also allow services I can add for estate planners/ liquidators, consultations and open up many new avenues for my small business. Who knows maybe a little Antiques Road Show here in Beverly. Either way, I’m expanding my horizons still doing something I love but jewelry & accessories always being the niche. No reinvention just more evolving- keeps the mind young .

One of the great things about vintage costume jewelry is that it looks & feels like the real deal while you’re getting a real deal. Plus the rhinestones, faceted glass & crystal pieces can be safely worn on our city streets without the fear of losing a bloody fortune. Come out Weds, Dec 20, inside Lil’s, to see various eras & styles of great vintage jewelry & bags. 2738 W. 111th Street Chicago. 11am til at least 6pm.
