Hot Rocks Tanning & Boutique is looking for a polished, outgoing, and motivated Tanning & Wellness Consultant to join our team. We’re seeking someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and thrives in a fun, upbeat, fast-paced environment.

• This is a permanent, long-term position
• Per State Regulations you must be 18 years or older
• Evenings and Weekends are required
• This is NOT a training opportunity or position for Custom Spray Tanning Technician.
As a Tanning and Wellness Consultant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients. Your role will focus on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining salon cleanliness, educating clients on Tanning and Wellness options, promoting salon products and memberships as well as helping customers with their boutique purchases.
Responsibilities
• Greet customers and provide personalized service
• Educate clients on tanning & wellness equipment and services, skincare products, and safety protocols
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the salon and sanitize equipment after each customer
• Upsell memberships, packages, and skincare products
• Answering phones
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, processing paperwork, inventory, and salon upkeep
• Create and assist with social media content including stories, reels, short-form videos, and memes
Qualifications
• Creative, outgoing, and confident personality
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, Saturday’s and Sunday’s
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time (5+ hours per day)
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
• Interest or experience in the tanning industry is a plus
• Must be 18 years or older (due to industry regulations
• Familiarity with Instagram/Facebook (TikTok a plus), and be comfortable appearing on camera and creating social media content
