Yesterday's Child TN recently opened online after years of creating beautiful handmade, hand-smocked garments for children. I learned how to smock before my first child was born in 1995. I love everything about the creative process of choosing fabrics, patterns, smocking, and sewing garments for special occasions, or just everyday wear. ts , and will eventually expand into teaching other to sew and smock. All of my garments are handmade, and all smocking/embroidery is done by my hand, not a machine. Special occasions require special garments, and I believe hand-smocked heirloom-quality clothing elevates any occasion. I prefer to make one-of-a-kind garments, and strive to make each one unique.
