Hey Sailor! Drop anchor at any beach in this fun novelty 1920s bathing suit! Classic wool knit features tank style upper with buttoning strap and skirted shorts but the pleasure of this upper striped version is made greater with an embroidered applique patch of the jaunty anchor. The swimsuit is overall candy apple red but white makes a wide stripe and navy blue makes narrow ones. This swimsuit is in great vintage condition, various period mends but no stains, holes, nor odors to note.

Classic skirted swimsuit knit with navy blue wool is jazzed up with deco appliques of tomato red circles with slices pulling away pie chart style. From “JC Penney”. This swimsuit is in good vintage condition, a few tinyholes in the applique (don’t go through) and mends mainly visible on the back but no full holes, stains, or odors to note.

This 1940’s two piece swimsuit is just the thing for basking under blue skies and sun drenched shores! The stretchy hold of the sky blue cloth has a micro bird’s eye weave and openwork seams make a subtle peek-a-boo accent. The top is a halter style with ties at the neck and back giving the option for minimal tan lines and the cups are shaped by the seamwork. The bottoms have an ultra high waist, modesty panel on the front, and metal “Talon” zip up the back. By “Par-Ford”. Get those tootsies in the sand and heed the tiki time call in this 1940s playsuit! Made of cotton, with a print of ornate tiki designed tiles in mottled pebble grey, charcoal grey, canary yellow, and bubblegum pink. The one piece cut has bathing suit style bottoms with elastic leg holes covered by a mini skirt with tulip slits on each side. Halter ties make a drawstring that cinches to a teardrop keyhole and the back dips low where a metal “Talon” zipper fastens. Edges are finished with stone grey piping. Labeled with the fabulous tag “Hollywood Sport Life”. This playsuit is in great vintage condition, with no holes, stains, or odors to note.

1940s Locked and Loaded Lieutenant Leather Jacket | Vintage 40s Brown Hide Belted Back G1 Flight Coat w/US Navy Patches | Size 48 Large XL

This piece of wearable history will have you locked and loaded and ready for action! Worn by a Lieutenant in the US Navy, the truly incredible patches give us a glimpse into his life while also being a decorative element that begs for closer inspections. This G-1 military issue leather jacket itself dates to the late 30’s/early 40’s and the patches tell a story of action through the decades! We know the Lake Champlain launched in 1944 and the Helantisubron Five started in 1956 - glad to see he survived WWII and continued service! The embroidery and characters on the patches are so skillful and full of personality - from the angry cat to Satan puppeteering a bomber, and on the other arm an attacking eagle over an aircraft carrier and an octopus breaking apart a submarine! ‘USN” stamped behind the collar. The leather is walnut brown with a wonderful patina and supple feel and zips up with bell pull metal “Talon” zipper with sunburst stopbox. It has a golden fawn sheepskin collar and wool knit make up the cuffs and most of the waistband. Stylish and functional with its belted action back and large buttoning flap pockets. Fully lined. This jacket is in great vintage condition, some wear to the knit and collar and small holes in the lining, no other holes, stains, or odors to note.
