Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn will all be visible within hours of each other, creating one of the most impressive skywatching opportunities of 2026.
A Blue Moon occurs when two full moons fall within the same calendar month—a phenomenon that only happens about once every 2.5 years. Despite its name, the Moon won’t actually appear blue, but its rarity has made the phrase “once in a blue moon” famous around the world.
