Amiele handmade

Amiele handmade Casual fashion by Cecilia Iribarren Above all, I am a nature lover. My second hat is that of a craftswoman. When it comes to fashion, I am a complete autodidact.

I am an ecologist exploring natural habitats, inspired by the diversity of plants and wildlife I observe in the field. The joy I find in designing and producing my own cloths is what brought me into the fashion world. I was trained as a scientist, and learned to spot slight changes in color and pattern. This sensitivity is brought into my designs by the unique materials and original patterns I pro

duce. My style is simple. I aim to create clothing that makes us feel feminine, yet comfortable. I take my time in choosing fabrics that would transmit a sense of airiness and grace. Most of the items in the collection are one-of-a-kind, besides a few that are made in very small editions. These dynamic creations reflect my interpretation to the intense encounter of urbanism and wilderness in southern California. Amiele is a word in Tehuelche, a language spoken by native tribes in Argentinian Patagonia, where I was born. It means change, the process of becoming different. Give it a try, I challenge you to “amiele”. Cecilia
