Grew up in the neighborhood where we all knew each other. Riding the Mongoose behind Phillips elementary where the older kids built a makeshift dirt track for us all to ride on. River was right there, but if you were brave enough to cross it using the logs that stretched across you could then get to the cherry trees. We would munch on those and even fill up buckets. We always left before sundown though because the tall ass trees reminded us of the Blair witch project.. Memories.
