Throwback to a 2018 International Design Awards submission under the sub-category of Textiles & Materials/New Materials for Fashion Design.

The inception of the project also launched a journey-level design experience into Bags and Entrepreneurship — and it is also where FINA.co was founded and launched.

The Strip-Mesh Gym Bag is made of a one-sided, color-printed, strip-mesh vinyl banner typically used for outdoor print advertisements. I sourced the banner from a local recycling center located in Oakland, California and its original intent was to advertise a Women’s Marathon Run sponsored by Nike...
