The LCCAA Lorain County Pathways HUB now offers doula services to clients.

Doulas offer non-clinical support before, during and after childbirth. Physical, emotional and informational assistance includes birth preparation, informed decision making and postpartum recovery.

Under the Pathways HUB, doulas do not provide clinical care or case management but work alongside Community Health Workers to support the birthing experience and reinforce the client’s voice in her own care.

Women facing difficult pregnancies or who lack a support system can especially benefit from doula care which supports them on every step of their motherhood journey.

Adding a doula to your team is optional and provides support for creating your birth plan and making sure your voice is heard and your decisions are informed.

As many of you know, our lift has been inoperable for months now. After many tries at small repairs, the church has decided to replace the lift.

Your support will help ensure that the building reflects the welcome we proclaim at the Peace Community Church and Free Store for Kids: that every person is beloved, every body matters, and every neighbor should be able to enter with dignity.

Thank you OberlinKids and Oberlin City Schools for hosting the School Ready Summer Fun Fest yesterday! We were there with free kids clothing and fun activities.
