What's On The Longarm? 🐚

This quilt had ALL of my favorite colors in it! 😍

With all those beautiful peach tones, we originally thought Bahama Sand would be the perfect thread pairing. But once we laid the colors side by side, it was just a little too close of a match. So we went with a tan thread instead, and it gave the quilting design just enough contrast to really pop!

One thing I've learned along this longarming journey is that there are two types of quilters: those who love their quilting to blend right in and those who want every stitch to stand out.

Ever had a last-minute gift idea and wondered if you'd actually have time to finish it?

I get it! I'm all too often guilty of waiting until the last minute to start a project. It's one of whimsical characteristics lol.

And when you're making a quilt for someone special, the last thing you want is to worry about whether it'll be back from the longarmer in time.

That's why I do my best to take a little of that pressure off your shoulders!
Our guaranteed turnaround time is **two weeks** (unless otherwise discussed), so there's a little wiggle room for everyone. But whenever I can, I love getting your quilt finished and back to you in just one week—and without the extra rush fee!

Because finishing a gift should be exciting, not stressful! ❤️

Does this quilt look a little familiar? 👀

You might recognize it from last week, but I promise you're not seeing double!

This sister quilt was made by the same quilter, using the same pattern and even some of the same fabrics. But here's the sweet part—she actually made TWO quilts to give as gifts! ❤️

Certainly not quilters! Pink and pastels might not scream Halloween, but in this beautiful plaid quilt? They just WORK! 💕

One of my favorite things about this job is getting to see the incredible variety of quilts and fabrics that come through!

Of course, as a quilt shop owner, I know there's no shortage of beautiful fabric out there. But it's always so much fun to see how other quilters take all that fabric magic and turn it into something completely their own.

That's one of the best parts of longarming—getting a little peek into everyone else's creativity! ❤️

I love love love scraps. I will not throw anything away just incase. I do usually trim the pieces into sizes I commonly use but for tonight’s project I know when I trimmed it off my quilt I would be using it for this so I just threw it in the to do pile.

Do you use scraps or do you discard after a certain size?
