"There's a moment we never get tired of.

Here is how we roll....
Someone walks over to the Hook Mobile. They pick up a pair of Hooks. They look at the frame. Maybe they ask about the lens. Maybe they tell us ALL ABOUT the “good sunglasses” they already own. 👀. Then they put'em on.

Some walk over and simply ask " WHAT's SO SPECIAL ABOUT HOOK OPTICS? "
That's when we just smile, hand them a pair and say "Just put'em on."

Their reaction changes, smiles, disbelief or just WOW (the most used word to cover it)

That's why all day long, we can explain Hook Optics, but the shortest sales pitch we've ever found is four words:

You Gotta Put 'Em On.

If you've tried Hook, what was the FIRST thing you noticed?"
Our innocent bystanders from left to right are wearing the Ohana - Purple Haze, Fishfinder - Abyss, Reel Joy - Abyss. Check them our at www.hookoptics.com

NOT ALL POLARIZED SUNGLASSES SEE THE WATER THE SAME WAY.

When you spend your life working with vision, you look at sunglasses differently.

Hook Optics combines more than 40 years of optical experience with lens technology selected for demanding conditions on and around the water.

Come aboard the Hook Mobile during the Annapolis Powerboat Show.

Compare the lenses. Find your fit. Ask us questions.

This is your chance to experience Hook Optics the way sunglasses should be experienced:

Through your own eyes.

"“Polarized” is a feature. It isn't the whole pair of sunglasses.

Two lenses can both be polarized and feel very different after hours on the water.

We look beyond the label: optical clarity, lens material, coatings, backside reflections, coverage, fit and the conditions you're actually wearing them in.

That's what happens when sunglasses are developed by people with decades of optical experience instead of simply choosing a lens because it looks good in a product photo.

What matters most to you after a long day outside: clarity, weight, scratch resistance or glare control?

Tell us. Then take a closer look at the lens choices behind Hook Optics."

"Some people give you their hometown. We want your home water.

Ours is Ocean City, Maryland, where the Atlantic, the bays and offshore fishing helped shape Hook Optics.

Now we want to map Hook Country.

Chesapeake Bay? Florida Keys? Outer Banks? Jersey Shore? Gulf Coast? Great Lakes? A lake nobody else needs to know about?

Drop your home water in the comments. If you've got a fishing partner who belongs there too, tag them.

Let's see how far Hook Country reaches.

Welcome to Hook Country.

It isn't a place on a map. It's where the day starts before sunrise, the inlet is behind you, and your eyes are already working.

It's captains watching the water. Anglers looking for the next sign. Families who would rather be on a boat than almost anywhere else.

Hook Optics was built for this world by opticians who fish. More than 40 years of optical experience taught us what a lens should do. Time on the water taught us what sunglasses have to survive.

This is Hook Country.

Welcome to Hook Country. You Gotta Put 'Em On.
