For everyone wondering after this weekend’s nor’easter, the Beach Haven Chowder Cook-Off is still scheduled to go ahead October 3 & 4!

And after the weekend we just had, I think we could all use a little chowder, some retail therapy, and possibly a cocktail. Or three.

Saturday brings the Merchant’s Mart with local vendors, artisans, shopping, food, drinks, and live music. Free admission!

Sunday, 12 local restaurants go head-to-head for chowder bragging rights, and you get to be the judge.

Not into chowder? Go shopping. Not into shopping? Make a dinner reservation. Grab a drink. Wander around the island. Check out the fall sales and specials our local businesses have going on. There are plenty of ways to support small businesses when it matters most.

After losing an entire weekend to the storm, our local businesses could certainly use a busy one.

Whether you’re here for the chowder, the shopping, the cocktails, or just an excuse to get out of the house, show up for LBI this weekend.

Christmas is coming to the Washington Street Mall with a summertime twist on July 24th from 1pm to 4pm! 🎄☀️

Join us for a festive, family-friendly Christmas in July celebration featuring a beachy Santa and elf, live music from the Mill Creek Pickers and John King, FREE face painting, FREE candy canes, and book signings by Suzanne Simonetti Author, author of A Cape May Christmas Story, and Kimberly Brighton, author of Cape May Christmas in July.

Mall businesses will be celebrating with coastal Christmas décor, holiday music, festive merchandise, and seasonal specials, and representatives from the WCM Community Christmas Parade will be collecting donations for the parade.
