HELLO!! Welcome to Garb, where we making buying and selling the least boring thing you could ever do.

We stem from a consignment background but what makes us special is that our business model is a bit different…here’s why:

1. Short term rentals: Every closet space is rented by YOU and is good for 10-30 days. This ensures that there is continuous garment flow at all times throughout the store.

2. NO DONATIONS: The only time we allow donations is when you have finished your rental. Anything that doesn’t sell and you don’t want to take home will end up on our $2 rack, where all proceeds go towards local compost systems.

3. YOU SET THE PRICE: Yes you heard that right, we do not price your items for you, YOU DO. Only you truly know where your garments have been and what they deserve! We split a commission with you 🫶🏽

4. WEARABLES ONLY: Garb is strict on the “if you can’t wear it, we won’t sell it”. No books, blankets, or your man’s pots & pans allowed please!

5. OUR COMMUNITY: In the 6 months our storefront has been open in Collingswood, we have been overwhelmed with the amount of daily visits we have from some of our locals. Collingswood is truly one of a kind & we are so lucky to be apart of this town!!!

Absolutely insane

We don’t over complicate thrifting with this one hack 😜

We use 84 white boards to highlight key points to someone’s closet so you don’t have to 1. waste time or 2. dig through clothes that aren’t your size.

Odds are, once you find a closet you like, you will leave with multiple items. That’s just the way the cookie crumbles!!!

If you are renting, we suggest adding brands, time periods, general vibe of your closet (ex. all black, going out, bridesmaid friendly, etc.) your sizes, and the date your rental ends to ensure the buyer knows what they are in for!!

Do you love sustainable fashion and talking to people all day long?! Well then we’ve got an open position for you.

We’re hiring at both our Ocean City + Collingswood locations for part-time Garb Guides to help with the following responsibilities:

• Maintain clean and organized closets, including dusting, vacuuming, and reorganizing merchandise
• Return clothing and accessories to their correct closets and displays
• Assist with merchandising and overall presentation of closet spaces
• Maintain, cut, and organize recycled shop tags
• Prepare and organize business cards and promotional materials
• Explain our business model and services clearly to customers
• Help renters with closet setup and breakdown
• Support customer sales and provide excellent customer service
• Keep the setup room organized and manage hanger inventory
• Assist in posting daily instagram stories highlighting products
• Maintain and update personal availability within our scheduling app, and communicate schedule changes or unavailability promptly
