144 downhill and short enough that I had to really spike it. Do I overshoot or stick it?

Episode 8 of Birdie or Bust at Valmont in Denver. Birdie or better on every hole, going straight at it every time. No laying up means the bust is always on the table.

What's your shot from 144 downhill?

Triple mando uphill and my kid just staring me down on the putt.

Episode 7 of Birdie or Bust at Valmont in Denver. Birdie or better on every hole, going straight at it every time. No laying up means the bust is always on the table.

Who puts the most pressure on your putts?

Looked good until it disappeared behind the tree line

Episode 6 of Birdie or Bust at Brickyard. Birdie or better on every hole, going straight at it every time. No laying up means the bust is always on the table.

Hole 12 is 206 uphill, flex forehand with the Deflector. Looked decent off the hand and then I lost it behind the tree line.

Is it C1 or cutoff?

Episode 5 of Birdie or Bust at Sedgley Woods. Birdie or better on every hole, going straight at it every time. No laying up means the bust is always on the table.

181 uphill and blind off the tee. Flat forehand with the Berg.

How are you lining up a blind uphill shot?

Pin high but left, down the hill. Can I drain the putt?

Episode 3 of Birdie or Bust at Sedgley Woods. Birdie or better on every hole, going straight at it every time. No laying up means the bust is always on the table.

Tight green here, and anything that misses the window rolls down the hill and leaves a rough upshot just to save par. Deflector flex forehand was the play.

What are you throwing here?

338 to the pin with a tight window, can I hit it?

Episode 2 of Birdie or Bust at Brickyard. Birdie or better on every hole, going straight at it every time. No laying up means the bust is always on the table.

Thrown with my Trash Panda Procyon, Run 001. Still in the bag.

What's your gap splitter from here?

08/17/2026

New layout, blind off the tee, and I am not laying up.

Grand opening at Brickyard, and this is episode 1 of Birdie or Bust. Birdie or better on every hole, going straight at it every time. No laying up means the bust is always on the table, and that is the whole point.

I have played here once before, but the layout has been revised for the opening, so this one is new to me. Blind off the tee, so I am taking the line from one of the people who actually helped build the course.

Do you trust the local's line or throw your own shot?

Last week in the bag?

The Range has been my approach disc for years. The Berg is the eco option trying to take the slot, and so far it keeps hanging with it.

Soft ace run at the island with both.

Are you bagging any K1 Grind plastic?

08/11/2026

Episode 1.4 of the Eco Bag Challenge 🥏♻️

Hole 19 at Tranquility Trails is the bonus hole and doubles as a practice green, so I set up a 190 approach from behind hole 1's teepad and threw a hyzer forehand with both discs.

Different flights, same result. The Berg looked like the more predictable of the two once wind is a factor, which is the kind of thing you only learn by throwing the same shot twice.

What's in your approach slot right now?
