A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported me at my first Indie Untangled®️ ! It was so much fun to see old friends and make new ones! The biggest thank you to the wonderful women who helped me, Theresa, Irina, Elsa, and Kat, I so appreciate all of you! I can’t wait for next year!

Also thank you to Beth Kelly for lending me some of her beautiful FO’s including Catknit by Andrea Rangel Knits pictured above, and a big thank you to everyone who let me borrow your knits for samples, Jenn Owens, Kara, Tina, The Knitting Niche. I truly appreciate it!

New Limited Edition Base! I will be debuting a new base in a limited color palette at Indie Untangled®️ ! Cozy is a 3ply SW Extrafine Merino/ cashmere/ Recycled Nylon blend that is perfect for projects with a 14-18 stitch gauge. I’ve already knit Soe by Anna Strandberg in Cozy in Spiced Pumpkin Ale and I love the way it turned out. I’m currently knitting the Step by Step pullover by florence miller in All the Feelings and it is a dream to knit with.

I can’t wear mohair or Alpaca due to sensitivities and allergies, but there are a lot of great patterns out there that I have been wanting to knit with a gauge of 14-18 stitches that call for mohair or alpaca, since I can’t do that I decided I would try out this new base. It may become a permanent part of my collection, but for right now it is just a limited edition.

After Indie I will be adding what’s left to my website.

Temperatures have begun to drop, do you have your fall knitting/crocheting plans figured out? My yarn and I will be in Ocean City, NJ this Friday & Saturday, October 2nd and 3rd for a Trunk Show at The Knitting Niche! I’ll have tons of yarn to squish and plenty of samples to help inspire you! Thank you to everyone who came out to NJ Sheep and Fiber Festival! It was such a fun show and so nice to see so many of you!

If you weren’t able to make it out, there are still plenty of opportunities to see my yarn and I. I have new colors and new samples to help inspire your next project!

September 19th This coming Saturday I will be at one of my favorite places The Local Yarn Store in South Orange, NJ from 11-4.

October 2-3 I’m at The Knitting Niche in Ocean City, NJ from 10-5. Another of my favorite places, come for the yarn and spend a fall day at the shore.

October 16 I’m vending for the first time at Indie Untangled at HITS-on-the-Hudson in Saugerties, NY and I am so excited!

Today is four years since my last Radiation treatment. Normally I go out to dinner with all three of my boys to celebrate, but this year I’m working at a Fiber Festival.
This year’s celebration included, a wonderful dinner at Zeina’s Cafe with my friends , on the way back Debbie mentioned the ice cream shop near my hotel, and Ben decided we needed dessert, so he and I walked over.

This is my friendly reminder to listen to your body, and go to the doctor when something doesn’t feel right. I’m happy to say, I saw my radiation oncologist in May and he said at this point the chance of recurrence is very low and that he doesn’t need to see me for a year, which means I truly feel like a survivor!

Life is short take care of yourself and eat desert if you want to!
