What a wonderful day at Fort Atkinsons Fall Fest yesterday!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone that stopped by How Suede It Is yesterday.

Weather you purchased a hat or bag, or stopped to admire my work, picked up a business card, or just chatted for a while, I appreciate every single one of you!

Several of my handmade pieces found new homes yesterday, and I couldn't be more grateful.

Little boots, big adventures! 🍂 🤎

One of my littlest How Suede It Is creations made it to the pumpkin patch, and I just had to share!

There's something special about seeing something I've burned by hand out in the world, especially on the sweetest little feet!

Those sunflowers, the little ruffled trim, and a whole lot of fall cuteness!

Three birth months. Three beautiful flowers. One very special pair of slippers.

A rose for June, a poppy for August, and an aster for September - representing one mama's children ❤️

Every flower is burned completely freehand, one little petal at a time. No stencils, no tracing, just me and my burner.

A little peak at what's on my worktable. 🤎 🔥

Apparantly I'm in my bag era. 😆 🤣

One is all sunflowers and leaves, the other went a little moodier with roses - and I'm loving how completely different they feel.

Every design is hand drawn and burned by hand, one line at a time. No stencils. No two will ever be exactly the same.

I saw these little boots and knew one little girl who would look absolutely adorable in them.🤎

So of course I had to bring them home and make them a little more How Suede It Is 🌻

Sunflowers, leafy little vines, a tiny buzzing bee, and a few sweet details tucked all the way around.

Sometimes you don't need a plan - you just see something and know exactly who they belong to. 🤎
