Please read the full caption below for some important info about what to expect at Rethreaded’s clothing exchange this Saturday. If you are new to us or returning, this info is for you!

• We only accept clothes that are immediately wearable - NO holes, stains, tears, ect.
• We do not exchange underwear, swimsuits, hats, or shoes. If you bring these items, you will be asked to take them back when you leave.
• We only accept women’s clothing. We would love to serve everyone, but we only have capacity for women’s clothes right now!
• When you leave, you can take your extras or leave them with us to be used in future exchanges. We pride ourselves in making ALL sizes available!
• Due to lack of storage & capacity, we do not accept donations outside of the event or drop-off only donations. Come participate in the exchange and build community with us!

The fall exchange is always a crowd favorite! 🍂 Whether you’re cleaning out old summer clothes, finding pieces to part with as you revisit your fall and winter clothing, or just want to come browse, we hope you’ll join us AND bring a friend!!

Bring any clothes that don’t have stains or holes, or just come grab some clothes to refresh your wardrobe. Make sure to bring all your friends. 😋

It can be tempting to buy a new outfit when you have a fun event coming up, and we get it!

But, before you go shopping or hop online, consider taking a hard look at your closet first.

Some of my favorite ways to change up what I have include:

Adding/taking away layers. Adding a cute jacket to an outfit you have can help make a new look! Or, putting on tights and socks under a dress can make it look new/refreshed. My favorite is adding a shirt over a dress so the dress acts more as a skirt.
Look at EVERYTHING you have. Go to the back of the closet, bottom of drawers, and see if there’s anything you have been missing!
Beg, borrow, and steal. Okay, this might be cheating, because it’s not YOUR closet… but if you live with roommates or a spouse, do they have something that could work?

If you do add something to your wardrobe, try and make it something versatile enough you will want to wear again and try in new combinations! And we recommend hitting a clothing exchange or thrift stores before buying new 🫶

Please bring any immediately wearable women’s clothing that you’d like to exchange, or just come get some FREE clothes! We have gathered so many extras throughout the winter that there is plenty for everyone. If you’ve never been before, come check it out!!
