I can't believe it....

My dad found his high-school varsity 70s jacket & I never thought I would ever see it in person! He said he didn't know where it was & then unpacking boxes, my stepmother found it. He gifted it to me for my 40th bday this past January & I am over the moon🧡

I never imagined it was THIS beautiful!😍

We all have pieces that we hold onto because they're just SO special & so rare! This piece is one of them. It's a 40s/50s (maybe older?) handmade heavy metallic & silk evening jacket with gorgeous navy blue velvet rope ties & snap buttons. The craftsmanship is impeccable. So much so that it needed its own post.

She's beauty. She's grace. She's STUNNING.....✨️

Do you ever just sit and admire corners? Admire corners of your own home? 🏡

I look around at all my weird stuff & things that I've either collected , hunted, or was handed down to me & I can't help but love all my crazy 's**t'. And there's a lot of it 😆 There is NOTHING new in my house!

My home is where I want to be most of the time, so why not admire every little corner?

If you have the chance to go, GO! It's only here until September 29th & won't be anywhere else!

Edith Head has always been one of my favorite clothing designers & to see them in person was surreal. If you know me, you know I was giddy the whole time I was there 🌻
