It breaks my heart to temporarily close my salon for thirty days due to the stay-at-home order. I love what I do and I will miss seeing all of you. I promise to get each of you back in the second it’s safe to reopen and I’ll work 12 hour days to accommodate. I have the appointments in my square in order and I will contact each of you to reschedule in the order you were scheduled. Please feel free to contact me with any hair questions! Thank you for supporting me and I will pray, send good juju and happy thoughts for all of you stay well.

My industry in particular stands at high risk for both economic catastrophe AND infection. Because of close contact, I’ve made the decision to close the salon for the week of March 16th-20th. I didn’t make this decision lightly. I made the choice to protect my family because Reid and I are immunocompromised due to asthma and autoimmune issues. I also want to protect our elderly community as well. I will assess the decision towards the end of the week and update again.

I see between 5-7 clients in my chair daily and I could unknowingly expose clients or be exposed. Sanitizing between clients isn’t a guarantee that a large volume of people in and out of the salon will not somehow be exposed or expose me.

I care about each and every one of you and I thank all of you for understanding.
