Just wanted to remind all of you that the Free Treasures Den will be closed the month of September. Next time our doors will open will be October 2, 2026 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. We are taking a much needed vacation. Please do not leave any donations at the church. no one will be there to receive them.

A Friendly Reminder About Donations

We are so grateful for everyone who thinks of Saybrook Community Church when they have items to donate. Your generosity helps us serve our community through The Free Treasures Den.

However, we kindly ask that donations not be left outside the church without prior permission. Items left outside are exposed to weather and other conditions that can cause them to become damaged or unusable. Unfortunately, when this happens, we may have no choice but to dispose of them in the dumpster—and it truly saddens us to have to throw away items that were generously donated.

Do you have any of these hanging around? We are collecting white/clear plastic bottle tops. They will be recycled and turned into leg braces for those in need. Another joint effort with my friend Joanne Faraci. Bring them to Old Saybrook Community Church any Friday from 4-6 p.m. Message me with questions.
