I started as a child, and over the years I have honed my craft through apprenticeships and years of hands on experience as a skilled seamstress. I'm inspired by the artistry of couture sewing, and strive for the same perfection of fit and quality in every garment I sew. I've always hoped to have my own business, and the arrival of

my daughter pushed me to take that plunge into self-employed life. I love connecting with my clients, working with each of their unique needs, and sewing garments that I'm proud to deliver.

Can your gown defy gravity??

Mackenzie actually flew from California to see me, because she asked all the local seamstresses if they would add steel boning to her bodice….and sadly none were comfortable doing that :(

So she came to see me! ❤️

Her dress was always strapless. In the before I have a temporary strapped pinned on to get a more accurate read of what her bodice will fit like after the steel was added.

She got the support she wanted, a snatched waist take in, some reworking of the lace and pleats, a gorgeous ballroom bustle, and the most spectacular custom veil made!

She was recently married on Cannon Beach in the mermaid dress of her dreams. 🥳

She fell in love with a sample that was several sizes too big, but no job is too big for me! 😎 So it was graded down for a flawless fit.

Next I’ll be cleaning and restoring her after her day out on the sand! 🧼✨

Ideally alterations should leave a better fit or better finish than before.

Can budget limit this? Ya absolutely.

But I get ticked knowing a bride spent $300+ on a hem and got a shortcut instead of a high end finish.

So be sure to ask how your hairbraid hem will be sewn!!!
