Arguably the most iconic model in the sneaker world. The Air Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore and released in 1985 for Michael Jordan’s rookie season, his first signature shoe. The design was heavily inspired by the Nike Air Ship and Nike Vandal. Moore came up with a wings symbol that was a precursor to the jumpman logo.
The 1 was designed for basketball but the ankle support and wearability off the court caused them to be quickly picked up by skateboarding culture in the late 80s. The rest is history.

Thanks for the continued support while we work through our growing pains related to social media. Despite going ghost temporarily, both locations have still been open 6 days a week. A like, comment, share, and save helps us out a lot. Without y’all we wouldn’t be here!
