The fitting. One of the key moments in collection development. It's when a vision begins to look like a reality and the time to step back to evaluate. You evaluate: fit, perportion, coloring, details, etc. You have to think about every variable. You have to decide which model best suits each look. Its such a special moment.

Rachel Pollak Designs is a Kansas City, KS women’s wear brand that designs clothing for the modern elegant fashionista. The goal of RPD is to give a place for women to shop for both comfortable clothing and clothing that can be worn from day to night. Women are already so busy working and/or taking care of their families, being fashionable should work into our lives and not be a fuss. I want fashion to be easy, but unique. This is why I like to offer custom orders, so anyone can have something special and made just for them. Now days the market is full of fast fashion, but most women just want style to be easy. So many women just want clothing that flatters their figure and works into their busy lives while still impressing their friends. I think too much of the market is full of low quality, trendy, and poor fitting garments. This is what inspired my brand to fill this gap in the market.
