UPDATE JUNK N TREASURE:
We have progress and we are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel!!!!
The window frames are being set today Monday.
We think the windows will be in next week.
After the windows get put in we then can start resetting the store and cleaning up all the dust.
Thank you for all your support and kind words. It really has helped us through this time consuming adventure.

Update JUNK N TREASURE!!!!!!!

The construction is moving along. Hopefully the contractors will be done sometime next week.
After they get done we can reset the store and start the cleanup.
We have a thin layer of dust on all of item. And we have a lot of items.
Outlook to reopen we figure to be around the end of October or early November.

The contractors have fixed the door and finished laying the outside brick. We still need the inside wall built and frames and windows replaced. I'm hoping that will be finish in the next couple of weeks. Then we can start to restock the store. We feel it will still take about 2 weeks after the contractors finish before we can reopen. Thank you for all of your support. Please share our videos with your friends. Thank you.

Friday was the first step in getting our store back. WE HAVE NO IDEA WHEN WE CAN REOPEN!!!! Many of you have asked and right now we are at the mercy of the bricklayers and the builders. We are hoping for a reopening sometime in October. We have no say in it because the contractors have their own timeline. Loran and I will keep you upto date on the progress. Again, we want to thank all of you for your amazing support!!!!

GOOD NEWS!!!!
FIRST HAVE A HAPPY A SAFE LABOR DAY!!!!!
The yahoo's insurance company finally picked a bid to begin work on our store front!!!!!
Sad thing it was a bid that was put in over 5 weeks ago.
I will have another update next week. Until then enjpy this Labor Day Weekend!!!

08/31/2026

The Yahoo's insurance company says they will choose one of the bids this week. That doesn't mean the work will start but a bid should be awarded this week.
I'M NOT HOLDING MY BREATH!!!!!
Even if they do award the bid how long it will take to get the contractor out here and the materials to do the job is still anyone's guess.
AGAIN THANK ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR AMAZING SUPPORT!!!!!
