You might remember from the 3 part gown reinvention series I posted for her welcome party dress made from her aunts wedding gown.

Sarah also wanted to use part of her mother’s gown for her wedding day look! In comes the detachable train!!

I deconstructed her mom’s gown in order to use the train as a detachable piece for Sarah’s ceremony look.

Gown reinventions are my absolute favorite, and such a beautiful way to honor the matriarchs in our life! 🤍

And plus, Sarah’s mom was a DOLL!! I can’t say enough about how I loved working with you two.

Caroline was such a joy to work with!! And we changed A LOT about her look!

You might not be able to tell, but the top of her dress is actually a topper over a strapless gown that was originally bell shaped! We added darts, took in the side seams, added closures to the back AND added snaps along that waistline so it would attach to her gown, but could be removed if she decided!
