Loved adapting and tattooing this 3 of cups design from the Raider-Waite tarot deck! ❤️❤️❤️ The 3 of cups is a lovely card symbolizing merriment, friendship, community, and emotional connection. There’s an association with healing and victory as well, and the water/cup association (and pumpkin!) is symbolic of abundance and creativity. The number 3 is also associated with creativity, growth (abundance), and manifestation. I absolutely love this card’s meaning and always fascinated by tarot and its incredible use of symbology for introspection. Always down for tattoos inspired by or of tarot cards! Thank you 🏆

Mermaid from an old book illustration (1917!) by Jean de Bosschère plus a few 1+ year healed pieces! Knight and princess is a Quentin Blake illustration, and the chalice and sword is from my flash. Thank you for the trust over the years!

Here is an adaptation of a botanical illustration of an olive branch as a memorial piece, done in two sessions: the first session was for all the linework and shading, and the second session was color! I really enjoyed the process on this and building the colors on this. Thank you to my client for your trust with this special piece!
I’m definitely interested in doing more color work using scientific/botanical illustrations like this AND happy to find sources if you know what subject matter/scale/placement you’re looking for 💕🤓

Before every all-you-can-flash sesh I look into the mirror and say “ask not what a half day can do for you, ask what you can do in a half day” or something like that idk. Anyway we got 6 flash pieces done in 3.5 hours let’s goooooo! FROG GANG FROG GANG

Illustration from Madeline’s rescue- of the orphans adopting Genevieve the dog who rescued Madeline from certain death after she fell in the Seine (her fault tbh). Who rescued who indeed!
Added pops of color: yellow and custom grey-purple to give more of a storybook vibe and mesh with my client’s existing color work! Peep the healed Winnie the Pooh scene in blue nearby, done November 2024 (early color work for me!)

Trio of strawberries and an anatomical heart tattoo: I’ve been exploring this microrealism style based on antique engraving illustrations recently! They are proving to be really fun to tattoo!! Each tattoo took a 2-hour session, I’d love to do more like this! Friendly reminder that I have a billion reference books at the shop filled with similar illustrations of most any subject you can think of! ❤️ My books are open- see website for more details!

Really enjoyed adapting this painting (last slide) into this linework style!! I totally forgot to post this from January slashhh I should’ve cleaned my lens better and probably got discouraged but I’m over it now lol
