Picture #1, working on my very first pair of clay earrings in May 2020.
I didnโt know this picture existed until my husband sent it to me a few days ago. When I look at this photo, I see a girl trying to be brave. She was lonely and sadโ the world had shut down & I was temporarily laid off work. When I went back to work every thing would be different, it was intense, we remember. So, I started making pretty things, I desperately was trying to find a way to see beauty in the world once again. Throughout the last few years of creating I did that. I found beauty, through the creation process.
Pictures #2-3, today May 2023. Iโm holding my 6 week old baby, rocking him to sleep and reflecting. has been a such a gift to our family. We wouldnโt be anything without a community of humans like youโ not only are you a customer base, you are friends, cheerleaders, and participants in the greater story!
We have been taking things really slow over here the last 6 weeks healing from a c-section, learning how to be a family of three, and now how to be a SAHM for the next couple of months as my husband has gone back to work. Over the last six weeks, since my sons birth, ETSY has remained open and we did a Mothers Day Market when he was one month oldโ all with my amazingly supportive husbandโs help.
Guess where you come into this story?? In the month of May, between your online purchases and our Mothers Day Market, it completely covered the remaining $300 gap in our personal June budget left from my unpaid maternity leave. ๐ฅน๐ญ๐

Iโm starting to post more items into the Etsy shop over the next few weeks. The goal is for it to be more stocked than ever before with current made items this summer. Iโm also updating our pricing to make more affordable and available in the current economy. I just want to keep finding beauty, and I want you to be able to feel beautiful wearing our everyday earrings.
