This part of my life means so much to me. 🩷
I didn’t grow up in this faith. I’m a convert, so I remember being on the outside and not knowing what things like “General Conference” even meant. And now, all these years later, it has become one of the weekends I look forward to most.
There’s something really special about slowing down for a couple of days, gathering my family close, turning down some of the noise of the world, and making more room for Jesus Christ. I almost always walk away feeling a little more peaceful, a little more hopeful, and a little more certain about what really matters.
I know many of you believe differently than I do, and I genuinely love that. I’m so grateful that this little corner of the internet has room for people with different backgrounds, beliefs and stories. I never share my faith because I expect you to believe exactly what I believe. I share it because it’s part of me and because it has brought so much goodness into my life and our home.
So if you’ve ever wondered what General Conference is, this is a little peek into something I love. And if you ever want to listen, there is always a seat for you too. 🤍
