God's gift to us was the Holy Spirit, which enables us to do so very much in this life. The word does not say that temptation will never come our way, but actually the complete opposite. We WILL be tempted here on Earth & without God's spirit living inside of us, we will consistently give into the temptations that come our way. One of the biggest temptations that commonly goes unaccounted for is the battle in our minds. Each & everyday we are tempted to give into the negative lies from Satan, our enemy, or proclaim the truths of God in our lives. It takes an immense amount of self control to not allow those (negative) thoughts to dominate & reign free in our minds. Thoughts & emotions are the number one thing that will lead us into bad decisions. •
Take heart my friends, for Jesus has overcome. The same Spirit that lived in Jesus that empowered Him to overcome death itself lives in each and every believer. That Spirit gives us the power to have self control & focus on God's goodness in our lives... •
Walk in that. Be free in it. Grace & love wins...
